Gordon participates in many financial planning organizations in the Greater Washington DC area. He is a past President of the Washington DC Estate Planning Council and the National Capital Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and also a member of the Northern Virginia Estate Planning Council, McLean Estate Planning Council, the Greater Washington Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Outside of his financial planning practice, Gordon enjoys spending his free time with his family, skiing, running and at the Outer Banks. Also, he instructs at high performance driving events and has driven at most of the East Coast race tracks with the BMW, Ferrari, Corvette, Audi and Porsche Car Clubs.
